So you’ve been searching the internet for “what is the rarest squish-mallow” and haven’t found the answer yet? Mariah the 7” infant squad Squishmallow was only available at Aldi grocery stores in 2020. If you aren’t sure which one is the rarest, check out our guide to the rarest Squishmallows.
Santino the Platypus
If you are looking for a Squishmallow with a unique and fun personality, you might want to check out Santino the Platypus. This 12-inch brown Platypus is made by Squishmallows. He has a white belly and a dark brown duck-like bill. His eyes are round and black. Santino is also a soccer fan who hopes to become a goalie one day.
One of the rarest squishmoallows is Santino the Platypus. He is a brown, two-toned, pure-breed squid. He is the only animal in the Squishmallow family to have two permanent blushes, one round and one heart-shaped. He is also one of only four seal Squishmallows.
Philippe the frog is another rare Squishmallow. He belongs to the Valentine Squad. He has a white belly, bulging eyes, and a pale pink heart on each cheek. This Squishmallow is also one of the most expensive and rarest, often fetching over $500 at online auctions. This rare Squishmallow is the only one with a frog’s face – and it has heart-shaped pink cheek patches!
The most expensive Squishmallows are Santino the Platypus, Emily, and Stacy the Squid. They range in size from three to twenty-four inches, and have unique personalities. Kelly Toys has sold over 50 million of them since their release, but the rarity and exclusivity of these squishmallows makes them more sought-after by collectors.
Jackie the Purple Tulip
Jackie the Purple Tulip is the rarest Squishmallow in the world. A purple tulip, she has a pale green head, a purple tulip flower in her center, and a dark purple tulip petal on her stem. She has black eyes and a smiling mouth, and her large pale green petals make her look like a tulip in a vintage magazine. Other rare Squishmallows include Daxxon, a purple-speckled Squishy with black antennae and a purple flower with a smiling face.
Other squishmallows are quite rare, too. Among these are the chocolate-covered teddy bears, and a couple of unicorn squishies. Jackie the Purple Tulip is the most unusual and was only released recently, so getting her will probably be the most difficult part. Fortunately, Jackie is part of the Valentine Squad and is available in stores and on the internet. She loves playing squishy games with Marco the hedgehog, and she has a pink heart on her cheeks!
There are also a number of other Squishmallows in the Select Series. Jackie the Purple Tulip is the rarest, selling for nearly two thousand dollars! As the 500th Squishmallow, she has an exclusive tag embroidered on her left ear and a gold 500 on her label. She also sells for a whopping $1000+!
Pandora the Pegasus
A rare Squishmallow named Pandora the Pegasus is one of the rarest in the Dream Squad series. The rare Pegasus Squishmallow was created after the parents invited a magician to perform at their last birthday party. Pandora dreams of learning magic and performing in front of large crowds, and her shape is very similar to that of the typical Stackables.
Philippe
The first promotional Squishmallow from the Valentine’s Day collection was Phillipe, a frog with a pink heart on his cheek. This squishy is now one of the rarest and most expensive of them all, fetching up to $530 on eBay. This sweet little frog is available in two sizes, eight inches and sixteen inches, and each has its own personality and quirks.
Currently only 100 Philippe the frog marshmallows have been created by the inventor of the original squishmallows, and three are in private collections. This blog will tell the story of the first 100 squishmallows, as well as the second batch. I urge you to read the entire blog before leaving any comments! If you are interested in purchasing Philippe, it will probably cost you hundreds of dollars, so make sure you read the whole thing before commenting on it.
The second rarest Squishmallow is Jack the Black Cat. This limited edition toy was released in 2020 and is the 500th Squishmallow. It is easily identifiable by its matte black hangtag with a gold “500” embroidered on his ear. A rare Jack the Black Cat can cost upwards of $2000 at auction. The company is currently working to increase production levels and sell more of these squishy animals.
The Kelly Toys website currently sells one Squishmallow at most, but there are also secondary retailers that sell them for as much as twelve times their cost. Some Squishmallows are also so rare that they’re never for sale. And the prices are even higher – Squishmallows with rare names, like Philippe, can fetch upwards of eight hundred dollars at auction.
